Surrounded by woods, far enough yet near enough to neighbors, WoodSong sits at the base of Haystack Mountain in the McKenzie Wilderness Area. Pull into a long private drive with a large parking area and a three car car port.
WoodSong is within a 1/4 mile of the Whiteface Club & Resort, which features a waterfront swimming area, marina, 18 hole Championship Gold Course (X-C Ski Center during the winter months), clay tennis courts (both with instruction available), two restaurants and hiking trails. Just down the road, there are two miniature golf courses.
WoodSong is a short drive to all of the Olympic Venues and ski trails at Whiteface Mountain, and cross country skiing at your doorstep.
The main level has an open floor plan with beamed ceilings, a living room with a large stone fireplace and a big comfortable sofa and chairs. Entertainment equipment includes Internet access, TV with Digital cable, VCR/DVD player and a CD stereo. The dining area seats up to 10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. Sliding glass doors lead to a rear deck with a gas grill at the ready!
Also on the mail level are two bedrooms (one with a King size bed and the other with a Double)and a full bathroom. The King room also has cable TV.
The second floor features two bedrooms (one with a Queen and one with two Twins) and a bathroom with a shower stall.
You'll love sitting on the screened porch or the rear deck with your morning coffee and the beautiful bird songs. In the winter months, light a fire, cozy up and watch the endless snowfall from the large picture windows. With continual prompt snowplowing, you'll never get snowed in!
Finally, enjoy some pool in the game room in the lower level, where you'll also find a cloths washer and dryer. Cards and board games are also available.
